Welcome to Mesa City Church
Kristi and I have a passion to help people understand their unique makeup. We believe every person to be uniquely designed and able to make a difference in the community around them. After 23 years of ministry to families, Michael and Kristi decided to start Mesa City Church. Their goal is to help all people find fulfillment in their uniquely designed talents, abilities, and gifts. We are all on a journey to become the people we were designed to be. That journey is much easier when done in a community of like-minded people who want the best for one another!

Our Story
After studying art at Columbia College in Chicago, Michael felt called to become a pastor. His heart is to help people find wholeness and fulfillment by becoming the person they were designed to be. So after 23 years of ministry experience inside of multiple church contexts, Michael and Kristi decided to move to Costa Mesa California and start a church from scratch.With a love for people and a love for the arts, Michael wanted a place that would allow people the freedom to explore how they were uniquely designed. Each of us has been given different Talents, Abilities, and Gifts (T.A.G.) that make up our uniqueness. The more we learn to work tighter and share each other's individuality, the more we become a whole community.

Kisti is a loving, compassionate, warm human being who loves being with people. She is a nurturing person who makes the people around her feel comfortable and loved! With her passion for people, it was strongly on her heart to have a place where people could connect and share life with one another. What better way to do that than opening a coffee shop! The goal is to spend the next couple of years planning and prepping the launch The Coulture - a Costa Mesa coffee shop and art gallery. There, Kristi's passion for people, and Michale's passion for art will collide into a beautiful place designed to make a difference throughout all of Orange County!
