Michael and Kristi have 23 years of experience working inside the church environment. While they have loved their time working at two amazing churches, they have grown a heart for those who do not feel like the church structure is a safe place for them to explore life.

With a passion for art, and a strong commitment to exploring some of the harder questions in faith, Michael and Kristi feel passionate about creating a space where questions are welcome, diversity is celebrated, and people are empowered to live a life that makes a difference in the world around them.
Our Pastors
When I think of Mesa City Church, I see a place where everyone feels safe exploring the individual design of who God made them to be. This starts with a chance for everyone to have a personal encounter with Jesus our savior.
While each of us has a unique understanding of the world and how it works, I see a place where we can learn from shared experiences, while constantly measuring them against truth. Mesa City Church will be a place that allows people to explore the gifting God has given them while encouraging people to become the person they were designed to be. ​With Jesus at the center of everything we say and do, we will become a community of cultural influencers.
In order to be the place that allows these things to happen, there are a few things that must become a normal part of our community;
I see a place
- ALL PEOPLE will be given the chance to build a relationship with Jesus
- Every person will be treated with LOVE and RESPECT
- There will be room for people to ask any QUESTION they want
- Body, soul, and spirit are important parts of WHOLENESS
- Jesus will remain at the CENTER of everything
- CREATIVITY will will be valued as the way God expresses himself through us
